In mountainous rural northwest Vietnam where access to water is tenuous, the NGO will work with families & local leaders to improve water & sanitation services in 5 ethnic minority communes.
The project focuses on:
- Infrastructure development that can be maintained & replicated by the community
- Education on hygiene & sanitation (Informational sessions, workshops & school coursework)
- Climate-resilient livelihood model through energy-efficient agriculture to preserve water supplies, knowledge on solar-powered agricultural methods (Development of pilot community-managed solar-powered agricultural drying house).
