Safeguarding on Transport Program, born from the NGO relationships with the rail industry & British Transport Police, is designed to ensure vulnerable children no longer go unnoticed on railway transport, becoming a catalyst for positive change in their lives. The aim of the project is to:

1/ Raise awareness of safeguarding within station communities & implement local initiatives to improve responses (Safeguarding Action Groups designed to bring together stakeholders: Station management, BTP, retailers, security, TOCs, as well as trainings, education sessions at schools, etc)

2/ Supporting youth directly (Sessions on healthy relationships, substance misuse, emotional well being, etc), parents (Conversations/advice offered to improve relationships & conditions at home, or tackle issues at school) & families to strengthen relationships.
