The program creates a national safety network for vulnerable children who are at risk of violence, abuse & exploitation and are identified as having a safeguarding risk having been found on the rail network. Virtual sessions are now included in this project, and there is increased emphasis on awareness training for British Transport Police (BTP) and stakeholders including Care Homes and Schools. The COVID-19 context means this net will be needed more than ever.
