Poland: Soft skills training for disadvantaged Polish youth

To help disadvantaged Polish youth secure quality employment

  • Status

    Project completed

  • Location Warsaw, Poland

The Alstom Foundation is supporting NESsT to make further resources available to two social enterprises – CodersLab and Dimpact – that would train 150 underserved youth with required skills to enter the labor market in Poland. The grant will increase the capacity and reach of the social enterprises and allow them to expand their IT training and placement programs in high growth industries such as Business Process Outsourcing (BPOs) and IT. It would also enhance the ability of these enterprises to measure the final impact of these programs on youth income earnings.

The project would also look towards engaging corporate partners – to validate and update the curriculum and to train the beneficiaries. It is expected that 80% of the beneficiaries will successfully secure meaningful employment before the end of the second year.
