  • Status

    Ongoing

  • Location Rome

Since August 2021, hundreds of Afghan women have fled to Italy to escape the Taliban regime. The project aims to open an intercultural desk for Afghan refugee women & asylum seekers to guarantee their wellbeing & provide them with job orientation that highlights their skills & increases their employability for a better & independent future. A career counsellor & an employment inclusion expert would support (Skills assessment, CV elaboration, links with vocational training & employment centres, internships). The project also cover Italian courses, legal migration status & work contracts, knowledge of women rights & duties, guidance on how to benefit from local services and how to rent a house.
