Vocational apprenticeships is a good way for refugees to gain decent employment and become self-sufficient. The project plans a holistic online learning journey through a digital certificate programme in professional fields of electrical engineering and mechatronics, combined with 21st century skills including creative problem solving and critical thinking, communication, teamwork, creativity and innovation, plus technical language courses.

Together with the Alstom Training Center in Salzgitter and Alstom University, Kiron aims at tailoring a digital training programme that would meet the needs and previous qualifications of refugees within the industry, especially Alstom.
