Objective: Build solar panels to provide four homes for the mentally challenged with electricity and hot water 

To provide shelter for the mentally handicapped in the Florida towns of Boca Raton and West Palm Beach, the Nazareth Friends charity is an all-volunteer effort with no paid staff, completely reliant on donations. 

Alstom provided funding to install solar panels that furnish 24 residents with electricity and hot water. The savings realised from the on-site power will be rechannelled into running the home.
