This project provide 500 students facing distance and lack of mobility as a major impediment to education with durable bicycles and supportive community-based programming. Beneficiaries, the majority of whom will be girls, will improve their school attendance, academic performance and retention rates, ultimately leading to increased personal empowerment, improved long-term economic and health prospects. The grant will ensure each of the bicycle recipients has access to a local mechanic, spare parts.
